Oregon CPR Training has been a long-time client and we’re proud to have continued to help them grow their business in many ways.
Simplified Ticket Sales
When we first brought Oregon CPR Training on, they were having a lot of trouble with their event ticketing system, and their current web provider knew it wasn’t working quite right. He sent the team our way.
We moved the team over to The Events Calendar and their Event Tickets system, a platform we use a lot and works well for many folks.
But the Oregon CPR Training team isn’t really hosting events. They’re hosting classes, and many of those classes look exactly the same.
To simplify operations, we were able to build in custom functionality that tailored this experience to their needs:
- During ticket checkout, we added event dates so folks knew exactly which CPR class they were signing up for
- Events got renamed to Classes to meet student expectations
- A class template system was built, allowing the ORCPR team to create a new class of a particular type ready to go with the correct “ticket” types for different certifications
CRM Integration
Since CPR certification expires, it makes sense that ORCPR would have repeat students. But if you don’t stay top-of-mind with customers and proactively go out and get them, they won’t think of you.
We built out a custom integration between The Events Calendar and the team’s CRM, ensuring that registered attendees were added to the CRM and dropped into automation sequences for class and certification expiration reminders.
Marketing & SEO
We also embarked on a more comprehensive marketing journey with ORCPR, improving on-site SEO for various class types as well as managing a Google AdWords campaign. One thing the team immediately noticed that not everyone thinks about is that even if web searches don’t click on your ad in Google search results, just seeing it alongside your organic result creates more trust in your brand and also lifts organic search result clicks.
Classes are now filling up faster and more often. That’s good for business.
