Teachers across the country depend on the free $martPath financial education curriculum from the Alpaugh Family Economics Center at the University of Cincinnati.
We’ve worked with the team for several years to support this application, built on Laravel and Vue. We’ve improved a broken test suite for better reliability and overhauled the user interface to improve accessibility for its many public sector users.
Additionally, we support the Alpaugh Center’s UC StEP application. This application is used by volunteers at pop-up stores in Ohio schools as a light point-of-sale system, helping kids learn about earning, saving, and spending money. We rebuilt what was originally a custom PHP application into a Laravel-based application with better user management, enhanced reporting tools, better performance, and easier maintainability.
