Adding an administrator to your WordPress site is pretty straightforward, but just in case, here are some instructions.

  1. Navigate to Users -> Add New
    The "Add New User" menu
  2. If you’re adding Sterner Stuff, use “[email protected]” as the email address. Make sure you’ve selected “Administrator” as the role and have “Send User Notification” checked. The important stuff is highlighted below.

Why not send you my existing login?

You can trust me, but as a best practice, you really shouldn’t be giving other people your login. By maintaining isolated logins, you can quickly delete a userĀ from your website if need be.
